Cali Craft Renovations is a licensed, bonded and insured design-build company serving Greater Sacramento and surrounding communities. We design the space, show it to you before construction, design how it functions, select and source the products, and build it — cabinetry and organized spaces at the heart of every kitchen and bathroom we renovate, from one plan and one team.
Our story · since 2011
Built from the trades up
Cali Craft wasn’t created by people looking to enter the remodeling industry. It grew from years spent working inside it.
Founder Connor Cline began working in home improvement in 2011. Over the years, Connor and business partner Vasyl Bontei gained firsthand experience throughout residential construction — including years working in the Sacramento-area market and performing subcontracted work for other companies.
That experience showed them how many layers can sit between the homeowner paying for a project and the people actually designing, supplying and building it. Too often, design, material sales, project management and construction exist as separate businesses, each handing the job to the next.
Cali Craft was created to bring those pieces closer together. Today we work directly with homeowners to design their spaces, select and source materials, develop cabinetry and storage solutions, visualize the finished project and carry that vision through construction.

Connor Cline began working in home improvement in 2011, starting in door-to-door sales and customer acquisition, and has been building experience across home improvement and residential construction ever since.
Vasyl Bontei
Co-Owner
Vasyl Bontei has worked alongside Connor in the Sacramento-area residential construction and remodeling market for roughly six years, including subcontracted work for other companies — the experience that shaped how Cali Craft runs a project.
We created Cali Craft because we wanted fewer unnecessary layers between the homeowner and the people actually creating their home. When the same team can help design the space, coordinate the materials and carry that vision through construction, we have more control over the details, the quality and the overall experience.

Design before construction
Understand the project before demolition begins. Your room is measured, built to scale and designed — layout, storage and selections — before anything is ordered or taken apart. The expensive decisions get made on a screen, where changing them costs nothing.
Designed around your life
We design function and organization, not only appearance. Where everyday things live, how the drawers are divided, where the appliances sit and how the room flows while someone is cooking or getting ready — that is planned as carefully as the finishes.
Extensive product choice
Multiple cabinetry and storage collections, not one catalogue. Access to several collections gives us flexibility in style, construction, customization and budget, so the product is matched to your room rather than your room being fitted to the one line a contractor happens to carry.
Materials coordinated with the design
Products are not chosen separately and forced together later. Cabinetry, countertops, tile, fixtures, lighting and hardware are selected inside the design, so they work together aesthetically, functionally and technically — and you see them together before they are ordered.
One coordinated process
Design, sourcing and construction work from the same plan. The plan you approve is the plan the materials are ordered against and the plan the crew builds from. Nothing gets reinterpreted by someone new between the design and the build.
Accountability
One team, from the first idea to the final walkthrough. The same team stays responsible for coordinating your project from the initial concept through completion, so there is always one company to call — and no one else to point at.
Long-term support
Quality products, documented warranties, and a company that stays. We use products and methods intended for long-term residential use, tell you clearly which warranties apply to the products and work in your project, and remain available after the job is finished.

Our own workmanship obligations apply to the work we perform, and they are documented for your project rather than left to a handshake.

Questions after completion come back to the same team that designed and built the project — not to a call center or a subcontractor you never met.
